Since it was started in April 2016, its objective has been to maintain a site that includes videos, articles, and questions to help users to think critically about online hate speech, and foster resilience against it. “It Has to Stop”: Vigil Held for Two Inuit Women Found Dead in Montreal
About 50 people attended the vigil for Siasi Tullaugak and Sharon Barron, the two Inuit women who were found dead in their Montreal homes in late August. The calls for action to investigate their deaths were punctuated by the cries of their friends in Cabot Square on Sept. 8.

The Concordia Student Union and former Finance Coordinator, Adrian Longinotti, have agreed to settle a civil suit outside of the courthouse. The CSU will be paying Longinotti $8,500 according to a source who chose to remain anonymous.

Voting for the Concordia Student Union general elections will run from March 28 to 30. Three slates are running this year, Team Connect, Team Unity and Embrace ConU. Team Connect is the only slate with candidates for every position. An independent student is also running for General Coordinator. All positions are contested except the Sustainability Coordinator. Quorum for the election is 450.

Voting in the Arts and Science Federation of Associations referendum will run from March 21 to 23. ASFA represents about 20,000 students within Concordia’s arts and sciences programs. Quorum, the number of students that need to vote for the election is 435.
