*It’s been months since Hadi Eid has seen his daughter, Bissan, and he has yet to hold his newborn granddaughter. Stuck in Gaza since December, Bissan Eid, a Concordia graduate student, had to give birth away from home and without medical supplies on May 11.

Concordia Tuition Fee Hikes Set for Next Year
A 2.7 per cent increase in tuition fees for Quebec students was announced at today’s Board of Governors meeting. Canadian students from outside Quebec and students from France will now be paying an extra 2.29 per cent as well.

CSU and Former Executive Reach Legal Settlement
The Concordia Student Union and former Finance Coordinator, Adrian Longinotti, have agreed to settle a civil suit outside of the courthouse. The CSU will be paying Longinotti $8,500 according to a source who chose to remain anonymous.
