The Concordia Stingers and the McGill Redmen had a thrilling encounter in the 28th annual Corey Cup game on Friday. Unfortunately for Concordia, they couldn’t get the win, losing 4-3 in double overtime.

The Concordia Stingers women’s basketball team lost 72-48 to the McGill Martlets this past Saturday, and the term bad would be an understatement. Stingers were held to under 10 points in a quarter twice during the game, giving them their fifth loss in their last six games.

The Concordia Stingers wrapped up a home-and-home series against the McGill Redmen this past Saturday, edging McGill 51-44. ConU was led by guard Mukiya Post’s 12 points in the victory. McGill’s Francois Bourque led his team with 13 points in the loss.

The Concordia Stingers dropped their most recent contest to the Laval Rouge et Or this past Thursday night, losing 79-77 at the Concordia Gymnasium. The Stingers failed to keep pace in the standings, and allowed Laval to jump to second in the RSEQ.
