The Montreal Impact and Toronto FC were part of a rivalry in the United Soccer League for two years in the form of their second teams: FC Montreal and Toronto FC II. Late last year the Impact announced that it would dissolve the FC Montreal and instead affiliate itself with the Ottawa Fury.
