Your Concordia Taking Action
I would be very curious to know what the ironically-named Action slate has done for fighting fee hikes, battling the Board’s power politics and striking back at the student union’s fumbling—you know, actual student politics?
I helped promote the March 12 demonstration against the Charest budget cuts and was lucky enough to get to know some of the good people who have been organized in unselfishly fighting these battles on students’ behalf for months, not just when it’s time to party.
It so happens that the overwhelming majority who are really taking action are to be found on the Your Concordia slate.—Richard Hinton,
