By-Election to be held Nov. 30
The Link's By-election will take place Wednesday, November 30 at 6 p.m. over Zoom and in our H-645 office. The available positions include Managing Editor, Co-News Editor, Features Editor and Opinions Editor,
Those interested must read the job description before applying. Applicants must submit a one-page cover letter explaining why they think they’d be a good fit for the position and a portfolio of three past contributions to The Link. Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, Nov. 23, 11:59 p.m., and must be sent to both secretary@thelinknewspaper.ca and coordinating@thelinknewspaper.ca
All staff members can run and vote in the by-election.
To be considered staff, students must have contributed four times or three times if they were staff in the previous semester. For any questions about your eligibility email coordinating@thelinknewspaper.ca
Eligible to apply: Anthony Issa, Aude Simon, Autumn Darey, Cèdre Obeid, Conor Tomalty, Diane Yeung, Elias Grigoriadis, Iness Rifay, Ivan de Jacquelin, Jaime Kerr, Jared Lackman-Mincoff, Kaitlin Gong, Maria Cholakova, Mariana Chajon Oliveros, Marilou Brickert, Menel Rehab, Mohammad Khan, Myriam Ouazzani, Nadine Abdellatif, Olivia Integlia, Sandra Mouafo, Simon Feisthauer Fournet, Sophie Dufresne, Valentine Alibert and Zachary Fortier.
