Lina and Your Concordia

I was ecstatic when I found out about Lina Saigol’s candidacy for Arts and Science councillor for Your Concordia.

From the day I met Lina I saw the determination and passion she held for everything in her life. From the children she works with to her education and especially making Concordia University a better place for you and I, Lina never gives up.

Her idealistic outlook and realistic actions are what fuel her fervor for political change.

I expect my student union to intervene if ever the student body’s best interest isn’t in mind. I expect someone who will stand up for us, the student body, when everyone else is on the proverbial bandwagon. I want to know my student union, be able to talk to them rather then view them as some sort of untouchable hierarchy.

I would only ever vote for a slate that I believed would ensure all of these things. I believe that Lina Saigol and Your Concordia possess these attributes and this outlook, and that is why I’ll be voting for them!
