Lina Will Make You Proud
Lina Saigol is one of the most informed, intelligent and passionate people I know. When you meet Lina, the first thing she does is ask your name. she does this because not only is this a way to introduce herself but as a way for her to get to know you.
Furthermore, Lina is very good at connecting with people. She can stand and talk to you for hours about what is going on in the world, or on the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy. Lina is relatable, she makes people feel comfortable and at ease. To me this is an important quality as someone who is going to be meeting a lot of people throughout her time as Arts and Science councillor.
Secondly, Lina is a team player. She thrives at working in groups and is very good at taking on different roles, whether it is delegating tasks or stepping back and taking directions. She has immense patience; after all she worked at Camp Amy Molson for two years with underprivileged children. She was always helping out the counsellors and program staff when they needed it, and seemed to always be able to get the kids who misbehaved the most to calm down and have fun with her.
Lina is a hardworking and devoted person who is always looking for new experiences. I believe that being part of the CSU is part of her journey and would really allow her to use her talents and expertise. It would also provide her with the opportunity to learn and grow as a person. I know it is extremely important to her to make a difference in other people’s lives and this position will give her the chance to positively impact her fellow peers.
If Lina is privileged to gain a position as a Concordia councillor for Arts and Science, she will make you proud.
