CSU By-elections: All Referendum Questions Pass
All Council Candidates Elected as Well
All referendum questions passed in the Concordia Student Union by-election after a ballot count on Thursday night, according to CSU’s Chief Electoral Officer Mohammed AlNaggar.
1102 students voted during polling from Nov. 24 to 26, AlNaggar said.
All of the candidates running for the CSU councillor positions were elected as well.
Students voted in favour of two new fee-levies, which are fees paid each semester toward student organizations.
The Community University Research Exchange will become a fee-levy group at $0.08 per credit, while the Association for the Voice of Education in Quebec will collect a fee of $3.50 per semester. Both fees are effective next semester.
