Caroline Bourbonnière for ASFA President

It is with great pleasure that I support Caroline Bourbonnière in her candidacy to be president of the Arts and Sciences Federation of Associations.

Caroline is charismatic, friendly, hard working, and passionate. She is currently the VP Communications of the Political Science Students Association and has been a driving force in its success this year.

As she worked hard to bring in new speakers such as the Ambassadors of Israel, Saudi Arabia and Egypt this March for an Arab Spring speaker panel.

She has also demonstrated strong leadership qualities in Volunteers in Action, where she currently holds the title of president. Every week, Caroline and her volunteers walk the streets of Montreal to provide the homeless with a nutritious lunch.

She is also a strong advocate for women’s rights, and will be hosting Women’s Month in March, organizing workshops, and inviting inspiring speakers.

She has recently been selected to represent Concordia at the 2012 University Scholars Leadership Symposium in Bali, Indonesia. Caroline puts her 150 per cent into every project she takes on, and that is why ASFA would be an excellent fit for her.
