Van Horne’s Sleeping Giant

Located on the corner of Van Horne Ave. and Park Ave., this former paper factory has been abandoned for several years.

Since its abandonment it has been taken over by Montreal’s graffiti artists and urban explorers.

The space is currently owned by Rosdev, a Canadian-based real estate company, and there are reported plans to turn the building into office spaces.

Currently however, the former factory is nothing but the skeletal remains of its industrial past.

It’s worth checking out. Just beware of the open elevator shaft in the center of the building—it’s a long fall to the bottom.
