Jason Voltaire: Electronic Music

The Link’s Scratch bloggers, focusing primarily on Montreal’s hip-hop artists, had the chance to sit down with recent Concordia University graduate Jason Voltaire for a change of pace.

More often than not, electronic music tends to influence hip hop productions, and that part of Montreal’s music scene deserves attention.

Voltaire goes by Martyn Bootyspoon at clubs and festivals. He works on visual production as well.

He’s easy to find when he’s not abroad. In fact, you can catch him on Sunday, July 2, at Piknic Électronik at 2:00 p.m. with his 00:AM crew.
