Managing Editor by-elections to be held Jan. 24
The Link will be running by-elections on Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. in our office (LB-717) and via Zoom for the position of Managing Editor.
All staff members can run and vote in the by-elections.
Those interested must submit a one-page cover letter explaining their reasons for running, goals and any relevant experience for the position. This letter must be submitted no later than Jan. 17 at 4 p.m., along with a portfolio of three contributions to The Link.
The letter and other required materials must be sent to editor@thelinknewspaper.ca and business@thelinknewspaper.ca.
Interested candidates must read the job description for the position they want before applying.
To be considered staff, students must have contributed four times this semester or three times if they were staff in the previous semester. For any questions about your eligibility email editor@thelinknewspaper.ca.

*Honourarium: $740.60/biweekly (Minimum 23 hours a week)
Journalism happens because deadlines are enforced. Oversee the paper’s print production and online production, including the news, fringe, sports, and opinions production cycles. Keep editors and staff on their game, and make sure the newspaper comes out on time.
