ConU Continues In Face of Striking Students
Concordia’s administration has taken an official position to continue to provide services as normal in the face of a massive student strike, which as of March 15 will technically include all Concordia students.
“[The] university will continue regular operations during these protests,” stated a notice posted on the university’s website on March 12. “Standard services will remain available and all instructional activities, including classes, tutorials, labs and studio sessions, will be held as scheduled,” the notice read.
Faculty associations and individual professors, though, have been given the freedom to decide for themselves how they will deal with strikers as a faculty or on a class-by-class basis.
More to come.
