Slate Wins Executive, Sweeps Arts & Science Councilorships

The next Concordia Student Union executive will be manned by the Your Concordia slate, headed by president-elect Lex Gill. The victory was by roughly 350 votes, a slim margin of victory considering the larger-than-normal turnout.

The makeup of the council will also be heavily tilted towards the slate, as they won all 13 Arts and Science seats, two out of three from Engineering and Computer Science and all three Fine Arts seats.

The Action slate, for its part, swept the John Molson School of Business, holding all six JMSB seats. Each slate will have one independent councillor.

Your Concordia also won both Board of Governors student representative positions, which will be filled by A.J. West and Laura Beach.
