KHALIL HADDAD

A self-described moderate and pragmatist, Khalil Haddad has spent his time at Concordia pursuing an undergraduate degree in psychology. He got his start in student politics in 2009 as the Vice President External for the Concordia Undergraduate Psychology Association. He also sat on ASFA as a councilor.

In 2010 he became the Chief Executive Officer of the Sustainability Action Fund, a fund which was designed to promote environmental causes on campus by offering applicant students portions of its aproximately $160,000 annual budget to fund sustainability projects. One example would be the Green Wall at Reggie’s, which was installed in August.

GEORGES ALEXANDAR

Alexandar was elected to represent the Fusion slate on senate this year and is currently the student union’s communications coordinator. He helped organize Concordia’s Day of Action to protest tuition increases. He has worked for the Canadian Liberal Party.

RASIM HAFIZ

Hafiz is currently the president of the Muslim Students Association, a Sustainable Action Fund Board Director and Library Fund Board Director. He is an advocate for Muslim prayer space at Concordia and supported the vote for additional fee levies to purchase a Student Centre.

NATASHA LAUNI

Launi is currently the VP communications at ASFA. She is an experienced photographer and graphic designer and has interned at CBS television Studios and Astral Media. The communication studies major is opposed to tuition increases.

TERRY SEMINARA

Seminara is currently serving as ASFA’s VP Academic and Loyola Affairs. She is a member of Liberal Concordia and a CSU Councillor for Fusion. Seminara voted in favour of a motion calling for the resignation of 16 resignations on the university’s Board of Governors.
