While often emulated by non-black people, the reality and struggles of Black hair remains undermined and its history and significance is left ignored. From natural hair, to getting loc'd and buying hair products for coily and 4c textured hair, Black people face many issues as their hair become increasingly politicized. The Link sat down with Hilary Etomo Mba, Camina Harrison-Chery and Lory Saint-Fleur, who talked about their journey to finding their own paths to loving their natural hair and the heritage and resilience therein.
