Life is but a war of the souls,Thirsty for love,

Hungry for affection,

Striving hard to be in control,

To be the one who gets all the attention,

Longing to be happy and secure,

Searching for that long lost satisfaction,

Staring critically at the mirror day by day,

Never content with our reflection,

What others have seems so much better,

How ignorant we are to this misconception,

Grateful we rarely are,

Envious we tend to be,

But that’ s just who we are,

These are the laws of humanity.
