Concordia Beats Ottawa Gee-Gees for Third Straight Win

The Concordia Stingers women’s hockey team is on a roll after winning their third straight league game this past Friday night. They won 4-2 over the Ottawa Gee-Gees at the Minto Sports Complex in Ottawa.

Ottawa opened the scoring in the first period, before Concordia scored all four of their goals in the second period. The Stingers benefitted from four different goal scorers in the period and the home team couldn’t catch up, scoring only one goal in the third period before game’s end.

Briar Bache made 38 saves in the victory, improving her team’s record to 6-8-2 on the season. Concordia’s next game won’t be until Feb. 13 at 2:30 p.m. against the McGill Martlets.
