This Saturday, passers-by in Chinatown will see a group of young dancers spontaneously mirroring the moves from the “Gangnam Style” music video. The flash mob is organized by members of Kpop Fan Café Montreal.

Rehearsals have been going on this week but one organizer who goes by the name “Chay” said that anyone can join, even if they haven’t had a chance to practice with the group before Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. dance. The flash mob is taking place on de la Gauchetière St. between St. Laurent Blvd. and St. Urbain St.

Post-dance, the Korean pop lovers are headed for some bubble tea at the L2 Lounge (71 de la Gauchetière St.) where the owner has agreed to play K-Pop hits for the afternoon.
