From June 20 to 22, Concordia University held its summer graduation ceremony at the Wilfrid Pelletier Concert Hall.

During the three days of the ceremony, more than 4,000 students received their degrees, and Jacques L. Menard was installed as chancellor of Concordia University. As well, an honorary degree was given out at each of the six ceremonies, to Corinne Charette, Theo Jansen, Monique F. Leroux, Rémi Quirion, Steve Wozniak, and The Right Honourable Beverley McLachlin, Chief Justice of Canada.
