This One Could Be Different

For the first time in my four years at Concordia I feel like there is a slate worth voting for. For the first time, I see a group running in the CSU elections that are actually in tune with real issues facing students.

For the first time, I see candidates engaged in student politics that have been working at a grassroots level for positive change in this school and want to continue doing so.

For the first time in my nearly-completed degree, I feel like the outcome of a student election could actually make the difference between a year full of creative changes, meaningful debate and engaging politics that reflect the student body, or the same old apathetic, hedonistic bull-shit that reminds me of a high-school student council.

I am excited to support the candidates running for Your Concordia. For anyone who has felt disillusioned with Concordia student politics, look to these candidates, who have finally broken from the continuum of Action-style campaigns that we’ve seen for the last four years.
